Warming up to 雀圣大赛

Been wanting to 切磋 MJ skills with Shunzhang!! And finallyI've got the chance. Met PQ, SZ and Yali at Mrt station before going to Jeremy's house. They kept saying i've got the killer aura (>.<) even before we started playing--->Out To Kill (which is somewhat untrue!!)

Anyway the first round start with me drawing a first major blood by 自摸四台. Then, almost immediately, SZ did a spectacular---> 清一色碰碰诈胡. Don't be fool by his noobness! It's his 破釜沉舟 tactics. He purposely wanted us to let our guard down and spurred himself on a 6 times winning spree and it ended with a 自摸五台!

I ended the first round with a $3 dollar surplus but that wasn't going to last. My luck for the night was only Gang-ing and Ka-ing as i failed to follow up with my 自摸四台 success. Suddenly everybody is 胡ing 五台 except me. SZ was disgustingly lucky. He changed his tiles as not to bao PQ and still ended up with a 自摸四台 and then out of no where a 自摸五台 again!! Not my day...Seriously I never 放炮 and yet I lost a significant sum by all the 自摸...(I think PQ is worse than me...haha...at least i still got 胡 some small ones..) But i did fight back a bit and ended the 2nd round with a deficit of less than $10.

3rd truely belonged to Jeremy. Suddenly he was on fire. But i must say im seriously suay to 摸 the 四tong. I was doing 清一色碰碰 inside while Jeremy bao tong zi. So i just gambled my luck but it backfired. (>.<) That was really a wake up call for me. But Jeremy's streak was not to be stopped any sooner. He continued to diao a few more rounds before my luck got better. However, i must really slap myself for making a super noob mistake which cost me my 一九大牌满贯!!! I threw away an 一 suo when I got a pair of them!!! Serve me right for losing...(>.<) At one point i was losing about $20+. But after successive 四台 and 五台, end of the day i fought back till deficit $5.

Poor PQ!! It was never her day except for a 五台胡. She was the biggest loser of the day at -$34 while after a long winless streak, Jeremy finally broke his duck and won $9. SZ, despite his spectacular 清一色碰碰诈胡, he won $30! WATCH OUT FOR HIM AT 雀圣大赛!! He is seeded!!!
