Rain Rain Go Away @ 2:12 PM
Rain Rain Go AwayDecember is usually my favourite month of the year. Cool rainy weather, hiding under my cosy blanket catching a nap, rotting away in a slow relax pace. Things are a bit different this time round. December is rather eventful. Since exam ended in late november, i've been to genting, worked at the Standard Chartered Marathon, been to Lata 1, met up with henry, koh and laiyi, met up with siew chern, yew wai and rong zhan for movies, and a few successful MJ sessions, oh and not forgetting the numerous store days!!!! >.<
Went Lata 1 with weizhen, ruyan, yihui, weiloong, jayren and serene and of course the trip leaders firdaus and kexin. I didnt really enjoy this trip, partly because of the weather --> wet and cold the whole day and the numerous leeches. However it is still a good trip. To me, a trip is good as long as there is good food, nice scenery and good companionship. The scenery itself is not as magnificient as those i saw in stong or datuk. In fact, there wasnt much of a scenery at the base camp. And the slides as compared to stong is 小巫见大巫,so much so that it didnt really spark the interest in me to play them. And the water is freezing cold. However, for newbies, i would recommend them to go Lata before going Stong-->easy trek, not so frightening slides.
Of course Lata does have its enjoyable moments. The 4WD up the mountain trails makes most of us "high"(denis can best describe it)!!! Scenery aside, the moment which i always enjoy during a trip is whipping up a good meal. Sort of being inspired by Shunzhang when his group cooked shark fin's broth during FOOT07 overseas seniors' camp, I decided to do something spectacular! We had chicken rice, 鲍鱼鱼翅汤,鲍鱼炒菜, 十全鸡汤 which i brewed for 2hrs. (Must thank serene for sponsoring most of the luxurious items...Serene, you are the nicest person in the group!! Im sure you will sponsor us more good food for future trips!!! muahahahaaaa....) Yup, i had always like cooking, just that i hate washing...I remembered i had wanted to be a chef when i was young...hahaha...Anyway will be posting the photos in the next entry.
Most of the met ups with koh henry and laiyi will be in my house, staying overnight. And recently, we have been playing board games. And they are extremely fun...especially those that i won!!!! hahaha...We played games like Cluedo, Blokus, my favourite-->Settlers of Catans, and Pictionary. Blokus is a game which i almost quite cannot win them, cos of the shrewdness of henry and the scheming laiyi!!! And on the reverse, Laiyi can never win settlers of catans. YES! NEVER!! wahahha....cos of his attitude problem and refusal to trade cards and we all know that he is scheming!!! I think it was almost half a year since i met up with them, though i did met up with individual. I guess the next meet up might be during CNY. Hmmm maybe earlier, as early as 2 weeks later? haha...for a one day JB eating trip...
Approaching late december le...But still a few more events to look forward to!!! A primary school class gathering tonite, leading Lata 3 on friday, maybe going to KL and thailand with mingmao during the christmas period and main comm outing to settlers' cafe-->time for a get together after a hectic december schedule...
Rain rain go away, come again another day...Little children want to play......(Pls dont rain during my Lata 3!!!!!)
